A refreshing and aromatic chilled milk beverage flavored with sweet rose syrup, often enhanced with basil seeds for a delightful texture.
Why it's healthy
Rose Milk's primary health benefit comes from its milk base, a rich source of calcium and vitamin D, which are crucial for maintaining strong bones and teeth. Milk also provides high-quality protein, essential for muscle repair and growth, and vitamin B12, vital for nerve function and red blood cell formation. The optional addition of sabja (basil) seeds contributes dietary fiber, aiding in digestion and promoting a feeling of fullness. However, it's important to note that commercial rose syrups are high in added sugar, which should be consumed in moderation as part of a balanced diet.
Ingredients
1 cup (240ml) whole milk, chilled
2 tbsp rose syrup
1 tsp sabja seeds (basil seeds), optional
Edible dried rose petals, for garnish (optional)

4. Stir vigorously with a spoon until the syrup is completely dissolved and the milk turns a uniform pink color.
5. Add the soaked and drained sabja seeds to the glass and stir gently to combine.
6. Garnish with edible dried rose petals, if desired.
