Serves 4 · Prep 10 min · 26 calories per serving

A sweet, spicy, and tangy chutney made from fresh guavas, perfect as a dip or a side dish.

Why it's healthy

This Guava Chutney is a nutrient-dense condiment. Guava is the star ingredient, providing an exceptional amount of Vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant that supports immune function and collagen production. It's also a good source of dietary fiber, which promotes digestive health and helps regulate blood sugar levels. The addition of fresh herbs like cilantro and mint contributes antioxidants and phytonutrients, while ginger offers anti-inflammatory benefits through its active compound, gingerol. As a low-calorie and virtually fat-free condiment, it adds immense flavor to meals without unhealthy additives, making it a wholesome choice.
