A crispy South Indian crepe made from fermented rice and lentil batter, filled with delicious melted cheese.
Why it's healthy
Cheese Dosa offers a balanced mix of macronutrients. The dosa batter, made from fermented rice and urad dal, provides easily digestible carbohydrates for energy and plant-based protein for muscle maintenance. The fermentation process enhances the bioavailability of nutrients and introduces beneficial probiotics, which support gut health. The addition of cheese significantly boosts the protein content and makes it a rich source of calcium and phosphorus, essential minerals for strong bones and teeth. While higher in fat and sodium due to the cheese, when consumed in moderation, it can be a wholesome and satisfying meal.
